Fall Cardigan Roundup

October 12, 2009

Whether you wear it over a t-shirt or collared-shirt, under a blazer or puffy jacket (what?!), the cardigan is one of those all-purpose fall staples that you can never own too many of – the sweater curse be damned.  Thinner versions are great layering pieces, and combined with a suit and tie, make for smart and stylish office attire. We also love the chunkier solid knits that can be pulled over skinny jeans or sweatpants for a casual stroll in the park with your dog.

We’re struggling to find a quality shot of a cardigan and suit, so this is close enough (it’s actually a suit jacket with a cardigan insert).  We’ll leave it to you to devise your own look – don’t be hesitant, it’s not that far from wearing a 3-piece suit.  Just don’t match the sweater color identically with the suit, and wear with a 2-button jacket to get the maximum effect.

I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your website. It’s a very
easy on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to
come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme?
    Superb work!
