Sometimes it’s all about the right timing. Although I’m currently in Europe, I knew a lot about this exhibit from http://www.photography-now.com. I recommend it to anyone interested in photography – When you provide them with your email address, they will send you an email about particular exhibits around the world, some photos and a brief biography of the photographer/exhibit. They particularly focus on Europe & NYC, but I sometimes I get information about LA, Tokyo, Rio, etc. Even if I can’t attend an exhibit, it’s a nice way to learn about photographers I haven’t heard about…and helps the time pass on my morning commute!
