We’re always on the lookout for new music. We can’t help it. Perhaps we’re afflicted with OCMD. Whatever the diagnosis is, we want to share it. No point in keeping it all locked up in our own iPod. So each week we quickly share what has us tapping our toes, snapping our fingers, or faintly singing along to the horror of those around us.

If you’ve never seen any of the Take Away Shows before, and you are even half a music fan, check it out. French director Vincent Moon films different (mostly indie) artists playing live, uncensored, and usually in public settings. The latest is Phoenix. Our other favorite (it was a tough call) is Yeasayer – we spent 4 hours on a Saturday evening (hey, it’s NYC – people go out really late here) catching up on old shows.
