Prepping for the rainfall
“April showers bring May flowers,” so they say. On account of this ancient adage, we’d like to pay tribute to the upcoming rain season. For those of us living in cities where the daily walk to work is inevitable, all the more reason to prep ourselves for the rainfall, starting with modern-looking and functional pieces.
While these umbrellas from Takashimaya look like more art than function, they do a great job of covering up. According to the store’s website, the first umbrella was designed by Dutch students and can withstand winds up to 70mph. The second umbrella comes in three colors and has a unique shape for good rain shield.
Davek has a more masculine feel to it. Its weight is a testament to its sturdiness. The best things about this product include the auto-open and auto-close button system, and its lifetimeĀ guarantee.
